Pelican, Todays Animal Totem

December 5, 2008

Dear Gorgeous and Beautifully Loved Friends,

Today I woke up from dreaming about pelicans. In my prayer time I saw that the energy and message of pelican was applicable to you.

When I studied and trained with my Native American teachers I learned that one of my passions is animals and the energy and information that they provide. Because animals live in the present, in the NOW, they are naturally in alignment with Creator, Source Energy, The Divine.

If for any reason you are unable to trust in your own messages, you can be sure to trust in the messages that are brought to you by animals.

I love Ted Andrews book “Animal-Speak”.  For a time it was my personal bible as I studied animals, their ways and the messages that they brought to me.

To me Pelicans are friendly sharing animals. They can work together in hunting and allow room for others in nesting. They intrinsically hold the energy of abundance and hold the message that there is enough ‘pie’ for everyone, no need to hoard or worry about someone else getting more than you. They are simply not competitive animals.

Pelicans are also very buoyant despite their size. The brown pelican has air sacs beneath that skin that make it impossible for him to sink.

Here is an excerpt of what Ted says about Pelicans in his book:

“Symbolically, this hints at being able to be buoyant and to rest on top in spite of the heaviness of life circumstances.  The pelican teaches that no matter how difficult life becomes, no matter how much you plunge - you can pop to the surface.  The pelican holds the knowledge of how to rise above life’s trials. this same idea is hinted at in regard to an old belief that pelicans once lived in the desert, in which they fed upon serpents.

Pelicans, in spite of their lightness, sometimes have a difficult time taking off from the water. Still they do manage, and again we can see the correspondence to freeing oneself from that which would weigh you down. The water is a symbol of emotions, and emotions often weigh us down. The pelican teaches how not to be overcome by them.”

I say that the message of Pelican today is that regardless of how you feel and what is going on it is impossible for you or I to drown. It is a good time to let go of limiting beliefs and to take on board the reality that the Divine Abundance is vast and that there is more out there for you than you can possibly imagine right now. It is bigger and better than you ever dreamed.

Allow yourself to let go of any thoughts, feelings or beliefs that have kept you from experiencing the true joy, love and abundance that is available to you right now!

I love you.  You are successful, abundant and loved!

Today and tonight I want you to allow yourself to find better feelings thoughts and to dream of the future that the Divine has in store for you! Remember that regardless of how big your dreams are right now, the Divine has even bigger things in store for you. Tap into that energy and allow it to come into your awareness now. Feel how it belongs to you!

Ho’oponopono Upstream or Downstream?

September 10, 2008

Dear Gorgeous and Magnificent Co-Creators,

I got a lovely message from a client asking me if doing Ho’oponopono was going Upstream or Downstream because it brought up emotions when she thought of things to ‘clean’ on but then when she’d cleaned she felt much better. This is my reply to her:

“I’m not sure how upstream doing the Ho’oponopono process is. What I am sure of it that is does take me downstream and gets me more in the flow than I would have been had I not done Ho’oponopono in the first place.

I haven’t heard Abraham talking about the Ho’oponopono process. I know that Joe Vitale is friends with Jerry and Esther Hicks and that in the early days he used to get into their seminars for free because they loved him so much. I know from one of Joe Vitale’s downloads that I bought he plans on asking Abraham about the Ho’oponopono process and how it fits in with their teachings.

I believe that Ho’oponopono falls in line with my Native American medicine teachings. I was taught by an Oglala Medicine Man that our Chakra’s are made up of hundreds of pictures (facets) and that when we clean a picture then people can no longer push our buttons on that picture. A picture is literally a snapshot in time or a movie that is one of the facets of one of our Chakras. There is an initial incident that then each similar incident is placed upon the memory of the last. Each time a similar incident happens then the emotions of ALL of the incidents are brought up. The Natives I trained with called these ‘pictures’, Richard Bandler co-founder of NLP calls them ‘pictures’.

For instance as a child your dad calls you ‘stupid’ in fit of anger and that makes a picture. Then you go to school a few years later and get into an argument with a friend and she calls you stupid. That brings up the emotion of your dad calling you ‘stupid’ and you place the memory of your friend calling you ‘stupid’ on top of that. So say the first time it happened with your dad it made you feel not good enough, every time you get called ‘stupid’ you feel as if you aren’t good enough. That is a picture. It can be built on time and time again. There is no limit to how many layers are in that ‘picture’.

What Ho’oponopono does is cleans and erases those layers, in my opinion. What Ho’oponopono says is that the limiting beliefs, the pictures can be there from the beginning of time. This falls in line with the Native belief that ‘pictures’ can be built upon lifetime after lifetime.

It seems as though just like me you are getting results from doing the Ho’oponopono, so just keep doing it! Does it matter if Abraham is for or against something? Abraham is usually FOR processes. They used to say affirmations were good, now more recently they say that it is going a bit upstream, but if it works to take you downstream you should do it! Do anything that takes you downstream.”

I love you.

Thank you.

What DO You Do To Feel Good?

August 25, 2008

OR better yet, What Do You DO To Get What You Really Want?

Over this past weekend I decided to just write a bit every day on my blog about what I am up to. Even if it’s just a sentence or two.

Making a commitment like that means that I have to be even more active on working on myself and it also allows everyone that reads this to get a better understanding of who I am!

This morning I did a lot of Ho’oponopono, in fact I am still doing it. Everyday I get new things to ‘clean’ on and my morning practice is to get up and Ho’oponopono myself into better feeling places. From practicing Buddhism for years I have a habit of chanting out loud first thing in the morning, even when I am still in bed. Getting out of bed in the morning is one of my challenges, which is hilarious considering that going to sleep at night is in contrast so difficult for me, there is always so much I want to do at night!
For years I would chant Nam Myoho Renge Kyo, a Buddhist chant, first thing in the morning. It was a way to set the energy for my day. It was a very easy switch to replace it with “I love you. I’m sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.” I have a lazy nature and if I don’t start first thing the chance of me getting into a meditative state during the day are minimal.

Let me explain that I’ve created a life for myself where I spend most of the day, every day learning about personal development or spiritual teachings. So, it’s vital for me to start on the right foot or I can easily flounder the whole day doing whatever and not getting very far. My vision from my earliest memories where to be a spiritual leader. (By the way, if I do flounder a day or a week, I also do my best to see the teaching in that and I give myself allowance for doing or not doing whatever.)

I much prefer the energy and vibration of being aligned with who I am and it is much easier to keep that energy going than to be lax and build it up again. I have my own negative nature and I grew up with enough contrast that it is still at times easier to fall back on feeling bad than experiencing the joys of life. Ergo, I chant first thing in the morning to set the energy for my day.

Today I had an awesome experience! I was listening to Joe Vitale doing Ho’oponopono (a 30+ minute track from his set “The Missing Secret”) while using my Chi machine. This was after having chanted Ho’oponopono for around 15 minutes. I was already in a good space from doing Ho’oponopono, so it was easy for me to get into an even better state of clarity. I love having the clarity of what I want. Today I went straight into the feeling I had when I was on the Hawaii Abraham Cruise is 2007. I had just been in the hot seat with Abraham talking to me about my channeling and confirming that I would be channeling for large groups like the group that was there. When I got out of the hot seat I just walked straight out of the Vista Lounge where the seminar was taking place and went and stood at a window looking out to sea. It was a clear and sunny day and I felt more complete than I ever had in my entire life. I LOVE when I tap into the energy of that moment. I was loving the feeling of being in that moment, I was really reveling in the bliss of it.

After a while the energy started to shift and was experiencing the energy of being discovered. For me that means someone that knows how to market and knows about spirituality and healing literally discovers me and supports me to do the work I love and want to do. This is an idea and a desire that I’ve had for years. Each day I get more and more aligned with it. But today was the first day I really FELT it, I was living and breathing the experience of having the life I’ve been creating.

It was such an awesome experience to really be in that place of having what I wanted. And I know that because I experienced in so clearly and the feeling where so delicious that it means I am almost fully aligned with having it. That has encouraged me to continue my daily practice of Ho’oponopono-ing. It was my sign of things to come, quickly!

Each day I start the day doing what feels good to me. It’s important to me because it allows me to build on my faith in not only my dreams but in myself. I get the courage, strength and confidence I need to move forward and to take steps that I would have taken eventually, but I take them that day, because I am more aligned. I see the work that I do each and every day as a way to align with what I really want. I used to do it more for the people I work with. I wanted to be in the best state for them and although it is true that I want to be my best and give my best to whoever I work it is even more satisfying and pleasurable to do it for my own enjoyment.

Ask Angela - Ho’oponopono

August 23, 2008

I have a group called Ask Angela on the Powerful Intentions website:

www.powerfulintentions.org/group/askangela

It’s another way for me to do what I love to do which is to support people into alignment. I just had a great question which allowed me to respond with some useful information so I have copied and pasted the question and my answer here for you!

QUESTION:

Hi Angela,

I want to support a friend who is having a healing crisis that could be very serious.

I know that the Ho’oponopono method (I love you, I’m sorry, I forgive you, I thank you) can clear the energy of a situation as we clear ourselves.

Can you please explain how to use Ho’oponopono in this situation?

Do I just focus on what resonates within me in regards to their situation, saying the 4 healing mantras to myself about me? Or, do I say the four sentences as if I am saying them to the other person?

Thanks in advance for answering!

ANSWER:

Dear Kim,

The short answer would be to find the same situation within yourself, or anything similar that allows you to relate to it, and Ho’oponopono on it. (Yes, saying the 4 mantras)

My belief from Buddhism and from training with Native American medicine peoples is that we can only heal others through healing ourselves. This has really been my experience and Ho’oponopono is in perfect alignment with my belief.

I also believe that when anything comes into my awareness it’s an opportunity for me to ‘clean’ on it. So, as I am writing this I am saying the phrases:

I love you
I’m sorry
Please forgive me
Thank you

to my memories of being in a healing crisis. I have had lots of healing crisis’ and its something I haven’t Ho’oponopono’d so I thank you for giving me this opportunity to ‘clean’ on it!

As I sit here replying to you I have already remembered several times of being in that place and I am holding the memory and saying the phrases until the energy dissipates and I feel good, instead of ‘being in’ that memor when I think of it.. That’s my personal gauge that it is clear with in me. And when it is clear in me I will know that it is clear in your friend.

I’d like to take this opportunity to tell you another way that I use Ho’oponopono. For things that I seriously want to clean I use the 4 phrases. But I also love to get into a place of Love and Appreciation. The way I do that is to start by saying “I love you” as my mantra and then I find things in my present to feel good about. If for some reason I’m not feeling bad, but I’m also not feeling great, I will look in my past for something that felt good, or something I loved to focus on. I will say “I love you” to the Universe and to that thing or situation. I will keep finding things in my past until I feel really good in my present and then I will love and appreciate the things in my present. I do this for a minimum of 10 minutes each morning.

I’ve found that it gets me into a complete state of BLISS. I am able to fully LOVE and APPRECIATE what is in my present and I spend all the time after the first minute or so being aligned with who I really am. I can feel the energy of Source flooding through me. I experience the dreams I have as if they are real, naturally, with no effort or conscious thought on my part.

I highly recommend getting into a present state of bliss! I’d love for you to try it out and tell me what experience you have had!

Ho’oponopono

August 6, 2008

Today I got a message from a Facebook friend saying she read about Ho’oponopono on my website and that she wanted to know more about it and my experience with it. So, I thought it would be a great idea to write a post about it.

Ho’oponopono is a Kahuna healing method that I learned from reading Joe Vitale’s book Attractor Factor. I then read more about Ho’oponopono from reading Joe Vitale’s book Zero Limits. I am in now way an expert on Ho’oponopono and I would highly recommend either book for more info. Zero Limits is specifically about Ho’oponopono.

I do Ho’oponopono two ways.

The first way is to say ‘I love you’ over and over again to the Divine and I remember events, situations that I love to help me to FEEL THE LOVE. It’s my personal way of doing the ‘cleaning’ as it is called AND appreciating so that I am attracting more of the moments that I love into my life.

The second way is to say the following phrases:
I love you.

I’m sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

When I am saying ‘I love you’ it is to the Universe, the Divine, that greater power that I am a part of.

When I am saying “I’m sorry” it is to the Universe, the Divine and to myself. I am apologizing for forgetting that I am an extension of Source Energy, that I am a beautiful expression of Divinity. I’m apologizing for the times that I acted out of fear and lack mentally and anything else that I felt from forgetting the unconditionally love and immense power that I have access to.

When I am saying “Please forgive me” I am saying that to myself, to every single part of me. I believe and know that I am the only judge, jury and executioner for my own wrong doings. The Divine is not the one with the score card putting ticks for and against me, it’s me that does that. So when I say “Please forgive me” I am asking myself to pardon the things that I did when I forgot who I was and acted out from that place of disconnect.

When I say “Thank you” I am thanking the Divine and the Universe for everything. Yes, literally everything, what I perceive as good AND bad, because everything I am getting is a reflection of my vibration. It’s an indication of what my thoughts are and how much I need to ‘clean’. I am also thanking myself for the awareness of doing the Ho’oponopono process of cleaning in the first place and for that matter every action that I have taken from a place of awareness.

My experience of using Ho’oponopono is phenomenal. I have studied personal development and spirituality with a great passion for 20 years and in that time I have trained with some incredible and amazing teachers that literally could perform miracles. My biggest miracle came from doing Ho’oponopono. Regardless of all my training and all the therapies I had and trained in I still held the image of an abused and unloved little girl. Three months of doing Ho’oponopono every day for at least 10 minutes changed that horrible self image.

Before Ho’oponopono I had the same exact training and I had no confidence in my ability to work with people because of my past and how I viewed myself. My miracle happened one day when I woke up and my past was just gone, my past image of myself was gone, no matter how hard the weak part of me would try to re-create that image of poor little unloved girl nothing came up apart from a clean slate. I got to decide how I was going to view myself RIGHT NOW! That was an incredible miracle!

When doing the Ho’oponopono during those three months I would bring up the bad feelings about myself and how I viewed myself and use the four phrases over and over again. I let myself cry and I went through disbelief and any number of unpleasant emotions, but I just did the ‘cleaning’.

It is said that the ‘cleaning’ of Ho’oponopono cleans the memory and energy all the way back to the beginning of the primordial soup. I would definitely agree with that. After years upon years of training and studying I found that Ho’oponopono is the easiest and most effective tool for clearing limiting beliefs and negative memories quickly.
