Angela,
As you know I have been practicing Buddhism with the SGI for 20 years and have received many benefits from chanting Nam Myoho Renge Kyo. However, today while having the pleasure to dialogue with you, I received one of the most amazing BENEFITS thus far in my Buddhist practice.
Angela your compassionate and healing words has inspired me to transform my anger towards my parents into compassion.
For years I have held resentment towards my Dad and Step-Mom for verbally and physically abusing me. Eventhough, as an SGI Buddhist, I know that I should not begrudge my life or my parents’ lives, I still managed to do just that.
Thank you for explaining to me how I need to understand that my parents’ verbally abusing me was actually an expression of how poorly they feel about themselves; it is the greatest compliment that they call me horrible words. They are simply jealous of me and unhappy with themselves.
Thank you for being an amazing friend and gifted healer. I have so much hope for my future after talking with you today. I look forward to practicing the daily affirmations.
Love always,
Alice
When I first met you Angela, I was drawn to you across a room full of people.
Do you remember how we connected so deeply, it was quite incredible. You have a presence unlike anybody I know and an absolute love for human nature every creed and colour.
You were able to see me for who I really was, within my confusion of life that I was experiencing at that time. You gave me insight and understanding and for that I can only say thankyou.
Most of all you radiate gentleness and love, a very wise soul who has a natural gift in helping others.
With love and peace
Michelle
